PCI uses http://myblueprint.ca as a resource to help students (and parents) check-out career and post-secondary options specific to each student. Each student has a login and password. Please see Ms Bousquet for assistance, if needed.

Gr. 12 students who are planning on attending university (See Ms Bousquet) or college (See Mr. Hordeski), should be checking to see if you meet entrance requirements.

Please note: Students will get the most updated information by checking the Grade 12 Google Classroom and the Grad page on the PCI website (starting in November).

PCI Bursaries and Scholarships – there is a required meeting for any students who are interested in applying for PCI Bursaries and Scholarships. This meeting takes place in the early on of Semester 2. Students must attend this meeting to get information on how to apply and gain any additional information needed.

Outside of PCI – Visit the bulletin board outside of the Career Centre for posting of scholarships and bursaries available for students to apply for independently.

Entrance Scholarships – students who are applying to post-secondary, and want to be considered for Entrance Scholarships at the institution where they will be attending need to check Entrance Scholarship requirements. These are MIGHT NOT be the same as entrance requirements. Please see Ms. Bousquet in the Career Centre.

Many organizations in Portage are in need of volunteers. Drop by the career center to see what is available.  Volunteer experience can lead to a part-time job, a reference or possibly a career choice.

Students looking for part-time employment can visit the Career Centre to look at the job postings available locally. Resume help is also offered in the Career Centre.
